FREE Heart Opening Meditation and Self-Care Guide

This week is a key energetic period within 2021. The equinox is on 22nd September, which marks the change of seasons, as the balance of light shifts to make for longer days or nights.

Whether that means snowstorms or heat waves depends on the hemisphere you live in. I am based in the UK, so we are moving into Autumn, but wherever you are the key thing is understanding that there are BIG energy shifts around this time!

It is a wonderful time to connect with Mother Earth and allow her healing energies to help you with your next steps. I went blackberry picking yesterday, which was lovely!

I have recorded a Heart opening meditation with some powerful Light Codes to help everyone at this time (and whenever you need to let go and open your heart!). You can find this at the end of the article after some quick self-care tips to help you too!

I have taken this from Christine Delorey’s weekly numerology forecast as it is exactly what we need to be doing!

“It is a time to consciously detach yourself from whatever is keeping you tied to the past, and consciously move towards what you want your future to be. In this evolutionary journey, while others try to pull us backwards, we must steer ourselves forward, regardless.

Express yourself honestly and openly, without harming yourself or anyone else. Appreciate (or recognize) your natural qualities and talents, and be determined to expand them in some way.”

There is a lot of unrest and chaotic energies right now. We are all experiencing them and they are tough!

We are being triggered on all levels to help us bring up old unwanted emotions, so we can move forward into peace.

This is not a peaceful endeavor and you may feel tired, stressed, anxious, unhappy, low in energy, or even depressed.

This is what happens when we hold on to our emotions rather than allow ourselves to feel them and let them go.

I feel this quote sums it up!

“People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

YOU are not alone. So many of us have had old traumas coming back up due to what is happening in the world, so you need to be kind to yourself.

One thing I have noticed is that the triggers come fast! When I am triggered, I feel it, clear it, and then feel good for about 10 mins before something else comes straight up!!

If this is happening to you, know that your Soul is trying its best to clear as much as possible so you can find more love and peace to help yourself and others in the coming times.

It is incredibly important to take time out for yourself. This is a pivotal time in history and the importance of working through our stuff cannot be highlighted enough.

Here are some key indicators and quick tips to help you move through some of these old emotions and traumas that are coming up.

You may feel as though you are between these 2 states:

Hyper-vigilant - basically in a state of increased alertness - your nervous system is on high alert. This includes feelings of anxiety/fear or perhaps being stuck in anger/rage. You may also be constantly glued to the screen trying to gain more information!

Feeling low or depressed - the system is shutting down - don’t want to interact with the world. Signs of this are depression, low energy, feeling drained, feeling everything is pointless, lack of motivation, lack of creativity

You may have experienced both these states or are in one more than the other, if so it is a BIG sign for some self-care.

These states are to do with holding emotions.

To get out of these states we need to FEEL and be PRESENT with our emotions, plus give ourselves the time needed to heal whatever is coming up.

Here are some tips for self-care and a Heart Chakra opening guided meditation with some powerful Light Codes to help this release. You can listen to this meditation as many times as you wish.

If you are feeling hyper-alert, then you need to relax a lot more:

  • Take a break from your screen. Limit yourself and turn off your phone/computer/tv for parts of the day.

  • Stop watching or reading the news!

  • Your system can’t relax unless you take space from what’s activating it, so remove yourself from the people, things, and situations that heighten your anxiety.

  • Build healthy support systems of people who you feel you can talk to when you feel scared or sad (friends who are a calming loving presence, communities, therapists, coaches, etc) 

  • Focus on your breath and make your exhale twice as long in length as the inhale. Also, focus on lower belly breathing (focus your inhale and exhale in expanding and contracting the lower belly). This causes immediate deactivation as the lower belly is the nucleus of the nervous system.

  • Take a bath ~ Get a Massage ~ Do Yoga ~ Guided Meditations ~ Read a book.

If you are feeling low, then you need to do something more upbeat:

  • Go for a walk in nature 

  • Dance 

  • Any form of exercise that feels good to you or anything that gets your blood flowing!

  • Put on some music that makes you FEEL (happy or sad) and sing your heart out!

You can listen to this whenever you wish and however you feel. Please just make sure you can relax safely while listening.

It is about 15 mins long and will help you feel and release your emotions, open your heart with the powerful Light Codes and ground. I hope you enjoy this meditation.
